Music provides a connection with divinity, especially during times of personal trial. This song is special mostly because of who wrote it. I really do like Eric Whitacre's music. But this song became special to me because it was the first Eric Whitacre song that I ever sang and I got to sing it at Carnegie Hall for the National High School Choir festival headed by Craig Jessop.
